INTRODUCING CHILDREN TO ARCHITECTURE

The Conseil National de l’Ordre des Architectes (France) held a webinar on 8 March 2023, entitled ‘Sensibiliser les enfants à l’architecture’ (‘Introducing children to architecture’). The webinar explored resources available to architects when visiting schools or groups of children to teach them about architecture and examined best practices when working with young people.

Hosted by Julien Vincent of the Ordre des Architectes, the webinar included information about the architecture and children training offered by the Académie de Nantes, as well as the archipedagogie.org site run by the Réseau des Maisons de l’architecture. Guest speakers Virginie Feisthauer from the CROA PACA and Laetitia Chaussonnaud from the FNCAUE also contributed to discussions.
